Dr. Christopher Clark is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He performs research on a variety of topics in environmental and natural resource economics, including the willingness of agricultural producers to adopt conservation practices, the effect of environmental labels on consumer willingness to pay, and the use of market-based instruments for managing natural resource use. He teaches courses in natural resource economics, agricultural and environmental law and microeconomic theory. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration (Economics) from the University of Tennessee in 1986, a J.D. from Tulane University in 1989 and a Ph.D. in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2001. Before enrolling at Vanderbilt, he practiced law in Nashville, Tennessee, where his focus was on commercial real estate transactions.
